Building Signs in Omaha
When deciding what design and size of signage to have for your business, first consider your location. How far of visibility does your building have to nearby streets? How heavily trafficked are the streets it surrounds? How many building elevations face main streets or highways, and which ones face the most direct traffic?
Lyman-Richey Corporation asked these same questions when starting the signage process with us for their new location at 2625 S. 158th Plaza. They are located quite a ways back from West Center Road but they still have great visibility to this heavily traficked stretch. So the first thing we knew was that the sign needed to be as large as the city would allow to ensure people could easily see the sign from West Center Road.
We fabricated 2'-9'' high "Lyman-Richey Corporation" white illuminated aluminum channel letters with an overall height of 6'-6 1/2'' and an overall width of 31'-3 3/4''. They really pop off the building to passing traffic.
For the west entrance, we furnished and installed 9'' high x 3/8'' thick "Lyman-Richey Corporation" non-illuminated aluminum flat cut out letters.
One of our most recent projects took us to Nena's Zamora Market in south Omaha. They have prime visibility from 24th and N streets, so signage for two elevations was highly recommended.
We fabricated and installed two new 8'-0'' wide x 3'-0'' high x 9'' deep single-face aluminum wall cabinets for the west and north elevations. We painted the cabinet red and added "Nena's Zamora Market" and border as vinyl overlays.
Interior way-finding signs are a great way to assist customers in your space. They can be designed to match your space in interior and style, such as the tenant directory at 260 Regency.
The directory is 3'-9 1/2'' high x 1'-6'' wide x 1/4'' thick non-glare acrylic with first and second surface vinyl. The header panel is 1'-6'' wide x 9'' high x 1'' thick Sintra with "Professional Pointe Executive Suites" vinyl overlay.
