Food Bank for the Heartland
Signworks worked in collaboration with Renze Display for the most recent Food Bank for the Heartland graphics installation in their Volunteer Center. Signworks designed the graphics and copy and assisted in the installation.
The display featured a vinyl map of Nebraska and western Iowa depicting Food Bank for the Heartland's partnerships, a variety of printed vinyl wallpaper images and vinyl copy focusing on their mission.
Brian Barks, the Director of Development and Public Relations at Food Bank for the Heartland, is extremely happy with the project and commented that “Gaby and her crew did a great job with the graphics in our new Volunteer Center. They look spectacular!"
According to the Food Bank for the Heartland website, “Approximately 20 percent of children in Nebraska and western Iowa are at-risk for hunger.” Douglas County is the unfortunate leader with over 24,000 children at-risk followed by Sarpy County. Last year alone, 12 million pounds of food were distributed regionally to those in need.
