Nostalgic Sign Renovation

Signworks takes pride in refurbishing all kinds of signs from a few years old to decades old. One of our most recent restoration projects took us to Missouri Valley, Iowa at the Rialto Movie Theater, which has been an icon since the 1930's. The marquee was damaged, neon was broken and colors were faded. A lot of work was needed to transform the sign back to its original grandeur.
With some TLC, Signworks refurbished the nostalgic marquee back to the way it looked decades ago. We restored the colors, fixed the broken neon and repaired all damages.
We have also refurbished some of the most classic signs in Omaha's history including La Casa, Wolf Bros., Charlie Graham, and Piccolo Pete's. Signworks carefully removed each sign and brought them back to the shop. We then stripped them down to bare aluminum, bead blasted, primed, and even hand-painted some of them before re-installing.
To restore these iconic signs back to their true beauty, a great deal of documentation research must be done to see exactly how the signs were displayed back in the nostalgic 1930's-1960's time frame that each of these were fabricated in.
The end result? The signs appear as if no time has passed at all and continue to help their business grow and thrive like never before.
